KOSÉ Cosmetology Research Foundation was established in 1990 to contribute to the promotion and encouragement of cosmetology research based on 78 years of experience in the cosmetics industry by the founder of KOSÉ Corporation, Kozaburo Kobayashi.
Over recent years, the social role of cosmetics has been expanding and playing increasingly important roles beyond the scope of keeping the skin clean and healthy and helping to create beauty, into daily life and psychological area, including a role of supporting their health.
In the world of today, we believe that promoting research in the cosmetology field has significant meaning not only for the cosmetics industry but also for general society.
In 2011, the Foundation became a “Public Interest Incorporated Foundation” in accordance with the reform of the Public Interest Corporation system. In 2019, the Foundation was renamed to the title of “Public Interest Incorporated Foundation, KOSÉ Cosmetology Research Foundation.” Social interest in cosmetology-related research is growing, and we consider that it is an extremely significant activity to participate in contributing to society by supporting such research. We would like to ask for your continued support in the future.
